My name is Michael Flynn and I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Science at Binghamton University. My research focuses on the political and economic sources of state behavior in the areas of conflict, international security and repression. I am also a contributing writer at the Quantitative Peace, a blog dedicated to political science, pop culture, science fiction, and the intersections of these various worlds.
